Tea Tours with Tang

DESCRIPTION:

In this tour, we will mix the experience of the countryside of tea gardens and city life of modern China.

 

We will start the tour with pickups at Xiamen Gaoqi International Airport(Code:XMN), after gathering the whole group, we will travel to Anxi.

 

In Anxi, we will go to an Oolong tea farm where we will stay and shadow the tea masters for all stages of Oolong Tea processing. We will learn to pick the perfect pluck, track the stages of tea oxidation and of course tase the tea(both finished product and as well as the unfinished)

 

Next, we will go to Hangzhou for a green tea(Dragonwell) tour, enjoy the best dragon well from its birthplace(Longjin Village), see how dragonwell is made from fresh leaves. Also, enjoy the great view of west lake, one of the most famous lakes in China. 

 

Finally, we will go back to Shanghai, explore the city and do some last-minute shopping, before flying back home. 

 

PRICE INCLUDES:

All local transportation, all meals, all hotels($500 extra for single room supplement) and all entry fees to events and museums of the scheduled tour.

 

PRICE DOES NOT INCLUDE:

Airfare to Xiamen and from Shanghai, visas, immunizations, and tips are not included.

 

DON'T FORGET:

Please bring multiple layers of clothes and comfortable shoes as some tea gardens have a lower temperature than the city and hard to walk in heels.

 

TOUR FLEXIBILITY :

Tea productions are very much weather permitting. If the weather is not optimal, we would make a few schedule change, though we expect the possibility of covering all the tea tours within this timeframe is very high. Please keep an open mind, we will do everything possible to make sure this tour meets or even exceeds, your expectation.
